Founded in May 2006, XQIZIT began with a simple vision: to make professional beauty services more accessible, convenient, and part of our clients’ regular routines—not occasional luxuries. Nearly two decades later, that vision has evolved into one of Durban’s most unique salon concepts.

 

We are proud to be the first—and still the only—salon of our kind to offer unlimited beauty services through affordable monthly membership plans. This model was designed with one goal in mind: freedom. Freedom to maintain your look, try something new, and feel your best as often as you choose.

 

Our journey started with our first branch at Life Chatsmed Garden Hospital, followed by expansions into Life Entabeni Hospital, Isipingo Hospital, and Westville Hospital. In a bold move during one of the toughest periods in our industry, we opened our Hillary branch during the COVID-19 pandemic—our first location outside of a hospital environment—at a time when many businesses were forced to close their doors.

 

Like many, we faced challenges. Some branches closed as the landscape changed, but each step strengthened our vision and sharpened our focus. Today, we stand stronger, more experienced, and more committed than ever to delivering exceptional service.

 

With a comprehensive range of services—including hair, nails, beauty, and slimming—we offer a true one-stop destination designed around modern lifestyles.

 

As we approach 20 years in the industry, our journey is far from over. Our next chapter is growth—expanding into major malls and, ultimately, taking our concept nationwide.
